Our teachers in Sweden

A group of teachers from the Mathematical High School visited the high school "Borgarskola Malmo" in Malmo, Sweden from April 26th to April 30th. The initiator of this cooperation is the principal of the school, "Malmo Borgarskola" Nikola Sarac. Swedish teachers were impressed by the success achieved by the students of the Mathematical High School in international competitions. They intend to develop a similar concept of education in their school.

Representatives of the Mathematical High School saw the excellent conditions and the excellent organization of one of the best schools in Sweden, which has more than 1400 students. The program of the visit included a tour of the classes, talking and sharing experience with colleagues from Sweden and agreement on future cooperation, which will include an exchange of students and teachers of the two schools. Colleagues from Sweden are particularly interested in the possibility of using specialized textbooks used in teaching Mathematics in our school.

The next visit of the Malmö delegation to Belgrade is planned for May 19th and 20th. It is expected that this meeting will be attended by a representative of the Swedish Embassy.
